The non-volatile memory of Premier allows profiling capabilities. The concept of profiling can be extended to various electrical parameter like voltage and current apart from demand and energy.
These parameters can be programmed in situ, to allow flexibility in tariff and load studies. 

Manual Recording of meter reading data in a logbook is cumbersome, time consuming and prone to human errors. 

Premier meters with integral PACT communication interface facilitate high-speed data transfer through DOS based Meter Reading Instruments. Cash flows of electrical utilities can be improved by implementing electronic reading of energy meters.

The PACT port can optionally be used for remote meter reading applications using different types of communication media.
